Save The Seals

Disappearing ice caps and increasing temperatures have caused the Arctic Harp seal population to... increase.  Actually, more like explode... from 1.5 million to 8 million in the past 40 years.

Harp Seal Population

Therefore, we must teach our children to save them.  A student project example from the website Think Quest...

"The adorable harp seal was once usually found in cold places until humans started to hunt them for their fur and other reasons. Now they are endangered and were once almost extinct. Now the harp seals are rarely found anymore, and it is our job to save them."

The only thing that needs saving is... our children.

"The ThinkQuest Library provides innovative learning resources for students of all ages on a wide range of educational topics. Featuring over 8,000 websites created by students for students, the ThinkQuest Library is visited by over 30 million web learners each year."
